Hours

The Ross Park Zoo is open every day from 10 am - 4 pm, with our last admissions at 3 pm.

We are CLOSED on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The zoo may close early if a special event is scheduled for that day. Please check our social media or our upcoming event page to see if an event is happening on the day of your visit! Or, you may call us at (607) 724-5461 x300.

In the event of inclement weather, the zoo may be closed. Please check our social media if you are unsure!

Location and Parking

Our address is 60 Morgan Road, Binghamton NY. We share a campus with the Southern Tier Discovery Center, but we are not affiliated. If you happen to see a brightly colored cow statue, you are at the Discovery Center and have gone too far! You will need to return to the main campus loop to access the zoo gift shop parking lot. Please follow signs for Ross Park Zoo to ensure you find the correct parking area.

Parking:

There are several parking options available on campus. For the closest parking lot to the zoo entrance, we recommend looking for a spot in the zoo gift shop parking lot.

Gift Shop Parking Lot:

• Upon entering the campus, take a right turn at the stop sign by the bus stop and head down to the gift shop parking lot.
• Follow the signs leading to the zoo to avoid confusion with the Discovery Center.

Alternative Parking:

• If the gift shop parking lot is full, there are other parking lots available on campus.
• Look for signs directing you to additional parking areas. You can park in these lots and walk down to the zoo entrance.
