Your Visit to the Binghamton Zoo
 Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park and the Southern Tier Zoological
Society Inc. are dedicated to providing a quality zoological
facility for the purpose of conservation, education, and
recreation.
It is the philosophy of most modern zoos, to
educate, as well as entertain the public. An informed public
is more likely to protect animals and their habitats by
endorsing protective legislation and preventing the loss of
additional wildlife habitats.

Directions to the Binghamton
Zoo at Ross Park
From the North:
Take Interstate 81 South to Binghamton. Take
Exit 4S (Rt. 7 South) to Binghamton. Merge onto
Route 363W (Do not take the Robinson St Exit!). Take
the Route 434W ramp towards Vestal. Merge all the
way to the left lane. Turn left at the traffic light
onto South Washington St. At the T intersection,
turn left onto Morgan Rd. The Zoo entrance is on
your right after ¼ mile.
From the
Northeast:
Take I-88 towards Binghamton. Take Exit 1 (Rt. 7
South). Route 7 Sout6h becomes Route 363 West. Take
the Route 434W ramp towards Vestal. Merge all the
way to the left lane. Turn left at the traffic light
onto South Washington St. At the T intersection,
turn left onto Morgan Rd. The Zoo entrance is on
your right after ¼ mile.
From the South:
Take Interstate 81 North to Binghamton. Take Exit 4S
to Route 7 South toward Binghamton. Merge onto Rt.
363W (Do not take the Robinson St. Exit!) Take the
Route 434W ramp towards Vestal. Merge all the way to
the left lane. Turn left at the traffic light onto
South Washington St. At the T intersection, turn
left onto Morgan Rd. The Zoo entrance is on your
right after ¼ mile.
From the West
Take NY Route 17 East (passing into PA briefly, then
back in NY). Merge onto NY 26 South on Exit 67S
toward 434 ramp toward Vestal. Turn right onto Route
434 East/Vestal Parkway. Turn right onto S.
Washington St. At T intersection, turn left onto
Morgan Rd. Entrance will be on the right after ¼
mile.

 Picnic Facilities:
Have your next company picnic,
birthday party, family reunion or other special event at the Zoo. Picnic
at the Ross Park Pavilion, complete with grill. Your pavilion reservation
will also allow you discounted rates for Zoo admission. Call
607-724-5461 ext. 222 for more information or to make a reservation.
Special Accommodations
Strollers are available for rental at the admissions
booth. Most areas of the Zoo are accessible to and can
be enjoyed by visitors with disabilities. First aid is
available at the Admissions Booth, the Administration
Office, and the Concession Stands.
