Make A Lasting Impression —
Buy A Brick On The "Walk Of The Wild"!
Here is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impression by having
your name or the name of a loved one displayed proudly on the "Walk of the
Wild". A beautiful commemorative pathway of engraved bricks is being
constructed past the beautiful Butterfly Garden, leading to the
Black-footed Penguin exhibit. Two different size bricks are available for

Volunteer Opportunities
There are many rewarding ways to help out hands-on at the Zoo, as well
as different types of volunteers. Docents are trained volunteers who guide
tours through the Zoo, travel with the Zoomobile to schools, nursing
homes, and community events, and assist in the general care of the
animals. Gardeners volunteer their time to help care and maintain the
numerous gardens throughout the Zoo. Friends of the Zoo help out at
special events and sometimes lend a hand in the office, preparing the
newsletter mailing for example. All volunteers are welcome to get involved
in all areas of the Zoo. It is not unusual to have the support of docents
and gardeners at special events as well. Wherever your interests lie, the
Zoo welcomes the support!
